Join us as we discuss the questions included in the guide provided by the author. This book is available at local libraries, online and in e-book formats.
Next month, the Book Club will meet on Monday, October 13 to discuss “The Red Tent” by Anita Diamant.
The Book Club is open to anyone who loves to read and wants to share with others. If you would like more information about the LUMC Book Club, please contact Laureen Sutton at firstname.lastname@example.org.
BLAST! KIDS PLAY & PRAISE OUR GOD
Saturday, September 13
9:00 – 11:00 am
Our first BLAST of the fall will be on Saturday, September 13. Our topic will be R-E-S-P-E-C-T. BLAST! is open to children ages 3 (potty trained) through 5th grade.
We have a great leadership team for BLAST, but we still need volunteers for the program to be all that it can be. Volunteers may serve as center leaders, shepherds or just as an extra pair of hands.
September 16 | 10:00 am | Meeting Room A
At our next Crafters meeting, we will finish up some projects and start pricing items for the Fall Bazaar. If you can run a glue gun, tie a ribbon, smear paint on a stick or enjoy working with others, this is the group for you! Want to participate, but don’t have time for a meeting? Contact Peggy Blair (512-863-7778) or Elizabeth Edmiston (512-563-8840 or email@example.com). We can set you up with a “ministry kit” bag so you can craft at home.
