Easter Celebration

LENTEN/EASTER WORSHIP SCHEDULE:

Easter Cantata
Sunday, April 6th
8:30 & 11:00 am

The choir will present a dynamic and inspirational musical production, “Praise the God of Resurrection” which traverses the breadth of human emotion found in the passion story of our Lord. From hours of solitude and rejection to glorious alleluias, the pervading theme is that ultimately God is in control. Walking through the last days of Jesus’ earthly life, this cantata is a moving reminder of the power of the living God.

Palm Sunday

Join us as we celebrate Christ’s triumphant entry into Jerusalem. Festival music at all services with a Procession of Palms by the children at 11:00.

Maundy Thursday commemorates the Last Supper when Jesus shared the Passover meal with his disciples on the night before he was crucified. The Sacrament of Holy Communion will be celebrated.

Good Friday
Friday, April 18th
7:00 pm

A Service of Shadows call a Tennabrae will follow Jesus’ path to the cross through dramatic readings and the extinguishing of candles. Our choir will lead traditional hymns and special anthems to help us retrace these final hours of Jesus’ life.

Easter Sunday
Sunday, April 20th
8:30, 9:45, 11:00 am
