Dear Friends in Christ,

Leander United Methodist Church began as a small community of faith in Bagdad Texas, over 140 years ago.  A lot has changed since that time, but the church is still proclaiming the love of God  in  Christ  Jesus  and  making  disciples  in  his name.

This church is a vibrant, growing fellowship where everyone is welcome.  The people reach out in    loving mission, expressed through the offering of our prayers, our presence, our gifts and our service.  To prepare ourselves for the sometimes rigorous journey of faith, we come together in worship, in the  sacraments,  and  in  study,  prayer,  fun  and fellowship.
