Sunday School

Sunday School classes for children, youth, and adults take place at 9:45 and 11:00 am on Sunday mornings.

 

CHILDREN’S SUNDAY SCHOOL | 9:45 am

AGES 6 MONTHS-5TH GRADE

Our children’s Sunday School classes enable children to grow closer to God through discovery centers, large group worship and weekly Bible Points. Our leaders are trained volunteers who love children, are committed to their spiritual nurture, and serve as companions on the faith journey.

NURSERY
Ages o – 35 months
Location: Room 1
Children are introduced to bible stories and simple Christian faith through play.

PRESCHOOL
Ages 3 and 4
Location: Room 4

EARLY ELEMENTARY
Kinder – 1st Grade
Location: Room 2

MIDDLE  ELEMENTARY
2nd – 3rd Grade
Location: Room 3

OLDER ELEMENTARY
4th – 5th Grade
Location: Room 8

 

SUNDAY SCHOOL FOR YOUTH | 9:45 am

Our youth classes focus on weathering struggles of the tween years through high school stages of life while focusing on a Godly perspective.  As young Christians, our youth explore all aspects of the Bible and relate concepts and lessons to everyday life.

Our leaders are trained volunteers who love youth, are committed to their spiritual nurture, and serve as companions on the faith journey.

ADULT SUNDAY SCHOOL | 9:45 & 11:00 am

 

ROCK HOUSE CLASS | 9:45 am

Using various books to guide a discussion, this class is designed to enhance one’s spiritual life and engages in random acts of fellowship.

Location: Meeting Room A

 

FRESH JOURNEY CLASS | 9:45 am

An informal class, with a focus on fellowship, this class studies issues relevant to everyday life and may vary from the bible to novels.

Location: Upper Room

 

SEEKER’S CLASS | 9:45 am

The class spends time in fellowship followed by discussion over a study series booklet printed by the United Methodist Church (Cokesbury). Booklets are readily available in the classroom.

THE VIEW CLASS | 9:45 am

The View is designed to explore how our faith guides us through current events in our daily lives as families and a community.

Location: Pastor’s Study

 

FOUNDATIONS CLASS | 9:45 am

A class for people who want to grow deeper in their faith and develop meaningful relationships with others. We are all building something, whether it be building our careers or building our families and we want to make sure we are doing that on a strong foundation, which is Jesus.

Location: Meeting Room B

 

SINKS & DINKS | 11:00 am

SINKS & DINKS (Single Income, No Kids & Double Income, No Kids) is a class for 18-30 year olds who don’t have kids. Join us for    relevant devotionals and discussions about life.

Location: Upper Room

 

GOD’S EYE | 11:00 am

This class is designed to accommodate new church members, helping them connect with others. Visitors and newcomers are encouraged to attend this class.

FAITH FINDERS CLASS | 11:00 am
PLEASE NOTE: The Faith Finders class does not meet over the summer

An informal class with a focus on fellowship, this class studies issues relevant to everyday life using books as a springboard for conversation.

Location: Room 7
