July 26-30, 2021

10:00-11:00 am

VBS this year will be a hybrid model. We will be onsite at the church each day Monday – Friday from 10–11 am outside on the front lawn. We will have a music extravaganza and one center activity. Parents can choose to stay for that hour or drop off and pick up. We will provide families with packs to do other activities in your own backyard. If you did not pre-register and get a take-home kit, you can still follow along using the daily outlines provided below.

MEMORY VERSE

“My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you.”

JOHN 15:12, NIV

I can have confidence because I am known belong am forgiven can change make a difference

DAY 3

"I can have confidence because I am forgiven."

Today's activities:

Volunteer!

We need volunteers to pack supplies and to hand out supplies at our drive-through pickup in the parking lot on Friday, June 26th from  5:00 – 7:00 pm and Saturday, June 27th 10:00 am-noon.

We also need volunteers to be Star Guides. Star Guides agree to connect with one to three families each day of VBS week to answer questions, see how things are going, and generally just check in to have a human connection with the church. Each Star Guide will coordinate with the family on how this will happen – phone, Facetime, or Zoom –  whatever works best. Star Guides must have completed the Safe Gatherings training.

Decorate Your car

Get some shoe polish, window markers or just tempera paint and decorate the windows of your car with any of our Power Launcher phrases, Vector Verse, VBS 2020, oe "To Mars and Beyond". Make some posters to hold up or tape to the sides of your vehicle. Do this on Saturday night or early Sunday morning as a family.

Arrive at Church Before 10:00 AM

Park in the back parking lot. Stay in your cars with your windows down or pop your back hatch and sit there. Feel free to shout greetings across the parking lot to the other cars.

10:00 AM Blast Off!

Commander Cade will be there with a greeting and will send us off with the Lord’s Prayer to cover our community in prayer.

Prayer Parade Map

Download the map (link below) of suggested locations to visit and pray. Start anywhere on the list and go in any order. (We don’t want to all show up at the same place at the same time). Pray the suggested prayer or one of your own. Pray at as many locations as you can. Feel free to add locations that are meaningful to your family. If you only have the time to do a few locations, take time in the coming weeks to visit the other locations and pray (either the suggested prayer or your own).
