Be the Hands and Feet of Christ:
We’ve all seen that the recent flooding across Central Texas has left many families in crisis—homes damaged, loved ones and essential items lost, and daily life turned upside down. As a church rooted in compassion and action, Leander UMC is stepping up, and we invite you to join this vital mission.
How You Can Help
We are assembling three types of essential supply kits to send to those impacted by the floods:
Each kit is designed to meet specific, immediate needs. You can find detailed supply lists and video tutorials by clicking on the kits listed above.
Supplies can be gathered individually or as a group effort with friends, family, small groups, or coworkers—whatever works best for you!
Kit Drop-Off Information
Once your supplies are purchased, you can drop them off at the church office
Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–2:00 PM
Or on Sundays during regular service times.
We’ll collect and organize them for delivery to local communities in need.
Volunteer Packing Event – Sunday, June 20
Be a part of the church-wide packing event between our regular service times, and
immediately after the late service.
All ages are welcome to help pack supply kits—whether you bring supplies or just yourself. We'll have clear instructions, materials ready, and a spirit of service as we come together for this mission.

Donations can be made online here -- be sure to write “flood relief” in the memo, or donations can be made by cash or check during a special offering time on Sunday.
Let’s Show Up for Our Community
This is our chance to be a beacon of hope. Whether you're giving supplies, your time, or financial support, you’re helping restore what’s been lost and reminding our neighbors that they are not alone.
