JOIN US FOR LIVESTREAMED WORSHIP ON SUNDAYS
8:30 & 11:00 am
On December 27 and January 3 we will only offer online worship on Facebook Live. We will not have in-person worship on either of those Sundays.
We hope you will join us on Facebook Live at 8:30 or 11:00 am!

THE PUMPKIN PATCH IS HERE!
OCTOBER 11-31
We won’t be selling pumpkins this year, but we will have a small pumpkin patch display set up for visitors to come and enjoy, play a little, and take some pretty fall pictures! We have activity books for children. Come back the week of Halloween and pick up a Boo Bag filled with treats for children (while supplies last).

Outdoor Worship Service
November 15, 2020
10:00 am
(The service will also be live-streamed on Facebook)
We won’t have an 11:00 am service on October 25th.
Everyone is encouraged to bring a lawn chair, wear a mask, and print the worship outline (link below). Holy Communion will be served and distributed to those sitting in the church-yard and parking lot. There will be no Sunday school, no nursery, and no playground access. A Children’s Time will be offered, but will have special instructions for observing distance.
Children will have the option to attend an outdoor, socially-distanced Sunday school class during the service.
PARKING:
If you plan on sitting in the courtyard, please park in the parking lot or school parking lot (rather than in front of the church or on the street). Those needing to sit in their vehicles and listen from there may park in front of the church on West Drive.

ANGEL TREE DONATIONS
We are sponsoring 4 families through Hope Alliance for Christmas this year. Hope Alliance provides assistance to victims of domestic violence.
If you would like to participate by donating gifts, there are 2 ways to sign up:
1. Pull an ornament from the Angel Tree by the Sanctuary.
2. Sign up to purchase an item from our list online using the link below.
Gifts should be brought to the church no later than December 13. When you are ready to bring your gift, make sure you have the tag attached or a note indicating what you signed up for. You do not need to wrap the gift. You can drop off your gift in one of the following ways:
1. Drop off your item by the Angel Tree on Sundays.
2. Drop of your item at the church office on Wednesdays from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.
3. Contact the church office to make other arrangements (office@leanderumc.org).
Prayer Parade
Sunday, July 5, 2020
10:00 am
Get some shoe polish, window markers or just tempera paint and decorate the windows of your car with any of our Power Launcher phrases, Vector Verse, VBS 2020, To Mars and Beyond. Make some posters to hold up or tape to the sides of your vehicle.
VAcATION BIBLE SCHOOL 2020
June 29-July 3, 2020
Vacation Bible School is still happening this year . . . just in your own backyard! We are offering a virtual Vacation Bible School experience. We have interactive activities posted online for each day. If you didn’t pre-register for a supply pack, you can still participate by improvising on some of the materials by using whatever you have on hand.

FALLSermon Series
“No Fair!”
In the trials of one family, we find hope for our own.
Summer is a time for family reunions. For some of us, family reunions are fun and fulfilling. For others of us, they are uncomfortable or even painful. We all have some dysfunction in our families. We all have stories that we’d rather not tell. In the stories of Genesis, we discover God’s chosen family – those first generations of Israel – had struggles, secrets, sibling rivalries, and even threats of murder. As we explore these rich and ancient stories, we see how God works through and in spite of family dysfunction to bring about God’s purposes for the world, and we find hope for God’s presence and movement in our own families.
