Changing the World for August:

Our Changing the World offering for August will benefit Drive A Senior Northwest (DASNW), which provides free rides to seniors who can no longer drive, helping them maintain their independence and stay connected to their communities.

Celebrating 40 years of service this year, DASNW serves a 125-square-mile area including Cedar Park, Leander, and Northwest Austin. In 2025, volunteers provided nearly 6,300 rides to almost 500 seniors, traveling more than 80,000 miles!

As our community grows, so does the need for volunteer drivers. Even one or two hours a week or month can make a tremendous difference in a senior’s quality of life. We’re especially grateful for the LUMC volunteers who already give their time to this important ministry.
