Our community has an opportunity to support a wonderful Eagle Scout project led by Jaron Rodriguez, Life Scout with Troop 161. Jaron is collecting new toys and activities to benefit Better ATX’s Toy Cart Program, which provides comfort and a little extra joy to patients ages 0–18 at Dell Children’s Hospital.
We invite you to help fill the Toy Cart with items that can brighten a child’s hospital stay. Suggested donations include Legos, UNO, Hot Wheels, Barbies, art kits, puzzles, fidgets, small sports balls, books, handheld games, and adult coloring books.
Please remember that all donated items must be new and free of latex, glitter, and magnets. Any toys containing batteries must have batteries secured with screws.
Donations can be placed in the Toy Cart donation box by the back door in the Fellowship Hall. Thank you for helping Jaron make a difference in the lives of children and families during their time at Dell Children’s Hospital!
