Blessing of the Backpacks

A new school year is just around the corner, and we want to begin it with prayer! During worship on Sunday, August 9, we’ll celebrate our annual Blessing of the Backpacks, offering a special blessing for students, teachers, and everyone heading into a new school year.

Kids are invited to bring their backpacks with them to worship. Each child will receive a special keychain for their backpack as a tangible reminder that they are loved by God and supported by their church family wherever the school year takes them.
