Backpack Program

The LUMC Backpack Program provides weekend food for needy families when there are no free school breakfasts or lunches.

Lead by Janice Hinojosa, volunteers meet monthly during the school year to pack weekend bags for families of needy students at Glenn High School and Camacho Elementary School.

If you would like to help pack, get a little exercise, and visit with other volunteers, come the first Wednesday of each month at 8:45am in the room between the kitchen and classrooms - the Narthex.
