As we move through the season of Easter, we are holding deep gratitude for our life together as a church. Holy Week was a beautiful reminder of who we are: gathering in worship, sharing sacred moments, and making space for one another to encounter God’s presence in meaningful ways.

We also want to share a brief update on our life together through the first quarter of the year.

Our average in-person worship attendance has grown to 99 people each Sunday, along with dozens of online participants joining us each week. That kind of steady growth is a gift. It speaks to the ways people are finding connection, belonging, and something meaningful here.

Financially, we are also moving in an encouraging direction. Our expected first-quarter offering was $65,100, and we have received $69,646.57. We exceeded our expectations by roughly $4,500 and that is something to celebrate! It reflects generosity, trust, and a shared commitment to the ministry we’re building together.

At the same time, we want to be transparent about where we are. Our current budget still relies on the final allotment of our reserve funds: $38,900. If we hope to preserve those reserves for the future, our giving will need to exceed expectations by roughly $11,000 in each of the next three quarters. Broken down, that’s roughly $45 more per month per giving household.

We share this not to create pressure, but to invite awareness and participation. We know that not everyone is in a position to increase their giving right now, and that is understood with grace. Your presence, your prayers, your service, and your faithfulness all matter deeply.

But if you are in a place where you can take a next step – whether that’s beginning to give, increasing a commitment, or giving more consistently – it would make a meaningful difference in sustaining and growing the ministry we share.

Thank you for the many ways you are part of this community. What we are building together is real, and it is making an impact.

With gratitude, Pastor Ryan, Board Chair Felicia Gledhill, and Lay Leader Tony Lisenby
