Stewarship Series Coming Up

Next week, we begin our fall stewardship series, Entrusted: Living Generously with What God Has Given, part of our larger A Life Shaped by Jesus series.

Stewardship is about more than what we give financially. It invites us to consider how we care for and use everything God has entrusted to us—our time, resources, gifts, relationships, and opportunities—and how generosity becomes part of a life shaped by Jesus.

Keep an eye on your mailbox! All members will soon receive an envelope from Leander UMC containing a letter, devotional calendar, and commitment card. We hope you’ll use these resources as an opportunity for reflection and prayer throughout the coming weeks.

We’ll also be sharing reflections and other stewardship content through our weekly email newsletter and Facebook page, so be sure to follow along as we explore what it means to live generously with what God has given us.

Giving Beyond the Offering Plate — October 18

Have you ever wondered about other ways to support the ministries of the church beyond traditional weekly or monthly giving?

Join us between services on Sunday, October 18, for an informational presentation about alternative ways to give. We’ll explore giving methods you may not be familiar with, including options that may provide tax benefits, and answer questions about ways you can make your generosity work for both you and the ministries you care about.

As we enter this season together, we invite you to reflect, pray, and consider: What has God entrusted to me, and how am I being called to use it?
